Dala Project
Dala Diamond Concession has excellent potential to discover diamondiferous kimberlites through systematic exploration.
- The Dala project is a joint venture between Endiama (the National diamond company of Angola) an Angolan partner and Global Gems International Limited. Formed to continue with a systematic exploration program for diamondiferous kimberlites, as well as, alluvial deposits for mining.
- Located immediately south of the Provincial capital Saurimo which provides convenient access to services, supplies, and recruitment of local personnel.
- Just 25km from the fourth-largest diamond mine in the world – The Catoca mine
- At 3,000km2 it is the largest allowable size for a diamond concession under the Angolan Mining Code.
- Exposure to over 100 km of the two of the best diamond-bearing rivers in Angola – the Chicapa and Luachimo.
- An Airborne geophysical survey was previously flown over the entire concession (16,000 line-km)
- Previous collated extensive data identified 152 compelling exploration targets with very good Kimberlite pipe potential.
